Asensio scored a screamer in the 4th minute as Real Madrid confirmed their superiority with a 2-0 bashing of Barcelona in their second leg Super Cup clash
Marco Asensio is playing his way into the hearts on many football fans and he gained even more grounds with yet another sensational strike on Wednesday.
Asensio scored a screamer in the 4th minute as Real Madrid confirmed their superiority with a 2-0 bashing of Barcelona in their second leg Spanish Super Cup clash.
But despite the high ratings for Asensio's latest 'Wonder Goal', the Real Madrid star picks his earlier strike in the first leg as the better of the two goals scored.
"Both of the goals were important in the tie," the Spaniard said.
"The first goal was nice, as was tonight's (Wednesday) but the one at the Camp Nou was more complicated and was very important."
With Cristiano Ronaldo's suspension, Asensio will likely see an increase in playing time, which he intends to take full advantage of.
"I work hard to have as many minutes as I possibly can," he added."I want to play from the beginning like I did today but I am happy with how things are going."
