Lenovo K80M is a 5.5 inch device with huge 4000 mAh battery capacity; it comes wit 64GB internal memory, but the only thing that killed this device is that it running on Android 4.4 KitKat. Who the fuck is still producing 4.4 when there is 7.0N, Anyway See the main spec below:
Main Features: Lenovo K80M 5.5 inch Android 4.4 4G Phablet Intel Moorefield Z3560 64bit Quad Core 1.8GHz 4GB RAM 64GB ROM NFC 13.0MP + 5.0MP Cameras
Xiaomi's next smartphone is a giant, dwarfing even its Mi Note and Mi Note Pro phablets in size. The new Mi Max comes with a 6.44-inch display and a beefy 4,850mAh battery which is both welcome and necessary, given the number of pixels you'll be pushing around every day. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 or 652 processor, as well as 4GB or 3GB of RAM, and 32GB or 128GB of internal storage. The two chipset choices are intriguing most flagships, such as the Galaxy S7, are using the Snapdragon 820, leaving the 652 to mid-range devices like the LG G5 SE. The design is eloquent, if a little by the numbers. It has a smooth, metal body with two faint antenna lines and the Mi logo etched on the back. It'll be available in silver, gold or dark grey the standard color set for a smartphone these days when it goes on sale in China next week.
The new phone also coincides with the launch of MIUI 8, the latest version of Xiaomi's custom Android skin. It's a clean, colorful take with a few new software additions, such as a reworked gallery app and calculator. MIUI 8 also introduces the ability to "split" a phone into two separate accounts, with a different passcode lock, home screen and apps. You can also "clone" apps which don't provide intuitive account switching. That means you can set up two versions of the same app, both with a separate login, and bounce between them using the home screen or Xiaomi's app switcher.
Xiaomi's Mi Max comes with a fingerprint sensor for security and convenient unlocking. On the back, you'll find a 16-megapixel camera, while the front is equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper, complete with a wide-angle lens. None of this sounds too extraordinary until you consider the starting price: 1,499 RMB ($230). That'll net you the lower-specced option with the Snapdragon 650, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Spend 1,699 RMB ($261) instead and you'll be upgraded to the Snapdragon 652 and 64GB of storage; the top option, which runs for 1,999 RMB ($307), ups the RAM to 4GB and the onboard storage to 128GB.
All three option are cheaper than what the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro sold for in 2015. Those devices are slightly smaller, however, with a 5.7-inch display and some specs that, even by today's standards, are pretty competitive (they run on a Snapdragon 810, with the option of either 3GB or 4GB of RAM). The Mi Max, then, is likely to be a complimentary device, rather than a direct replacement. It will also sit alongside the Mi 5, Xiaomi's new flagship announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

All-metal smart phones are in vogue and Samsung is by all means attempting to take care of demand. The Samsung Galaxy C5 spilled once more, giving us a frontal and an over the shoulder perspectives of the new frame.
Tragically for metal fans around the world, the C5 will most likely dispatch in China first and there's no discussion of when it may extend to different markets.

Today we bring to you this unique hidden Android features you may not know. If you think you have explored your Android phone to the fullest, then take a look at these tips and tricks that will make you see your phone in a different way.
1. Find your smartphone even if it’s on ‘Silent’mode
So you put your smartphone on silent mode and accidentally kept it in your bag or a drawer. Now you have no idea where it is, and calling on your number from a friend’s phone will not work. In such cases, you can utilise the functionality of ‘Android device manager’. Besides, this can be used to locate, erase data and lock your Android device in case it is stolen. To activate follow this process Open a browser and type ‘Find my phone’ through Android device manager. You will be asked to sign from your Google ID (make sure it’s the same by which you have signed in on your Android smartphone). You will find three options, ring, lock and erase. Choose according to your requirement.
2. Get those deleted notifications back
Many a times we mistakenly delete all those notifications from the notification panel and then realise that some of them needed our attention. If you are a victim of this, then this simple trick will come real handy. To activate follow these steps: Long-tap an empty space on your Android home screen and tap widgets. Find the Settings shortcut widget by swiping left and place it on the homescreen. The settings shortcut will then open a menu from which you can select the Notification log. Just tap on it and a Notification log shortcut will display on your homescreen. Thereafter, you can tap on it to check your notification history.
3. Let your Android smartphone read notifications for you
It is absolutely not advisable to read and reply to text messages, emails, etc. while you are driving. However, there are times when you just can’t miss an important email or a text from a family person even if you are behind the wheel or in position when you can’t operate your smartphone manually. In such scenarios you can download some third-party applications on your Android device that can do the job for you. Shouter, Read it to me, Speak me, etc. are some applications that can read your notifications from a number of stock and third party applications. You can prioritise the applications for which you want the app to read notifications while you drive.
4. Check everything about your phone’s hardware
To make sure your smartphone’s hardware is working properly, you can install ‘Phone tester’ from Play store that gives you complete information about your smartphone’s hardware. The free app offers detailed information of your smartphone’s sensor activities in real-time, shows battery’s temperature, camera’s detailed information and let you analyse whether the display is functioning correctly or not.
5. Automatic phone unlock at your trusted places
Setting up a lock pattern or a passcode is a much required feature as no one likes their personal information getting compromised. However entering the four-digit password or unlock pattern every time to check notifications even at places where your personal information is safe can be really irritating. For such instances, you can use the ‘Smart lock’ feature (with Android 5.0 and above) on your Android smartphone. The stock feature bypasses the PIN or passcode in your trusted environments, like home or work. To activate follow these steps: Go to security option in setting menu. There you will find the ‘smart lock’ feature. Tap on it to set up the ‘Trusted places’ where you don’t want to type a passcode every time to unlock your Android smartphone. The feature utlises your GPS sensor to set up a trusted location. Besides, you can also set up a trusted voice and a trusted device to unlock your Android smartphone in case you are wearing a wearable gadget. For users running Android 4.4.4 Kitkat on their Android smartphones, can install ‘Smart lock screen’ from Play store to get the functionality What do you think of these Android features? Newly released Tecno BOoM J8 have one large malicious program this is will probable paint the device black except Tecno do something about it through imparting a well timed replace to fix it.
It’s authentic that many human beings now send song and different files via flashare but there are human beings that also uses Bluetooth as a medium for for file sharing. Okay, what of whatsapp song sharing?
I actually came to be aware of this while i was doing research on this phone and Friend told me that recently bought it complained that he couldn't send music to another phone via Bluetooth or share music on whatsapp.
I thought it was a joke until four other users confirmed it too. So i decided to bring it to your notice so that you will be aware of it before buying the device. Also i hope Tecno mobile will get in touch with this post and provide a timely solution for this bug.
The LG G5 was a significant departure from the norm for LG, with their latest flagship being the first device from the company to feature an all metal construction. Secondly, the unique rear button layout is no more as well, and while the home button, with a fingerprint scanner embedded into it is still found on the back, the volume rocker has been moved to a more traditional placement on the side. Finally, and of course, most interestingly, the LG G5 is also the first of its kind to offer some form of modular capabilities. This has been achieved courtesy of a removable bottom chin, that apart from allowing LG to retain staple features like a replaceable battery, can also be changed to something else, like a physical camera control unit or an audio DAC. If you are in the market for something unique, the LG G5 is certainly the device for you.
However, like any other smartphone or tablet, the LG G5 is not without its fair share of problems. Which is why, we’ve rounded up some of the common issues that plague LG G5 owners, and offer potential solutions on how to fix them!
Disclaimer: Not every LG G5 owner will face these problems, and in all likelihood, you won’t come across any of these issues at all.
Problem #1 – Backlight bleed
Quite a few users have complained about seeing significant backlight bleed, with bright spots appearing around the corners and sides of the display. Some users have also reported seeing distortion on the display with only a little bit of pressure is applied.
Potential solutions:
==> This is a hardware issue, and the only option you have is to pick up a replacement. You can check out significant the problem is by using Backlight Bleed Test app that is available on the Google Play Store, which can also help show the issue when requesting a replacement from LG or your network carrier.
Problem #2 – Notification LED not working
Some users have found the notification LED to not function as expected. While it seems to work fine with stock LG apps, that isn’t the case with third party applications.
Potential solutions:
==> This seems to be a software issue, and hopefully, LG will have a fix available soon with a software update. Until then, you can try using the Light Flowapplication from the Google Play Store to get the notification LED to work as expected. There is also a free version of the app with slightly limited functionality to check it out first.
Problem #3 – Proximity sensor issue
==> Users have faced issue with the proximity sensor when using screen guards, particularly of the tempered glass variety, that cover the sensor. This results in the screen remaining off after calls, or being unable to use the phone to access other information while on a call.
Potential solutions:
==> You can check if there is a problem with the proximity sensor itself. Download an app like Aida64 from the Google Play Store. Go to the Sensors section and look for the Proximity sensor. Hold your hand over the sensor, and the value should switch between 5 cm and 0 cm for far and near respectively. ==> To re-calibrate the sensor, dial *#546368#*860# (the last three digits, 860 in this case, is the model number of your LG G5), then go to Device test – SAAT – Service Menu Manual Test – key press test – cal start. This will re-calibrate the proximity sensor.
Problem #4 – Connectivity issues
As is the case with any new device, you may find yourself facing some connectivity issues with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Bluetooth issues seem to be especially prominent with the LG G5.
Potential solutions:
Wi-Fi issues
==> Turn the device and the router off for at least ten seconds, then turn them back and retry the connection. ==> Go to Settings – Power savingand ensure that this option is turned off. ==> Use the Wi-Fi Analyzer to check how crowded your channel is, and switch to a better option. .==> Forget the Wi-Fi connection by going to Settings – Wi-Fi and long tapping the connection you want, then selecting “Forget”.
==> Re-enter the details and try again. ==> Make sure the router firmware is up to date. ==> Make sure the applications and software on the device are up to date. ==> Go into Wi-Fi – Settings – Advanced and make a note of your device MAC address, then make sure that it is allowed access in the router’s MAC filter.
Bluetooth issues
With issues when connecting to the car, check the manufacturer’s manual for the device and the car and reset your connections. ==> Ensure that you are not missing a vital part of the connection process. ==> Go to Settings – Bluetooth and ensure nothing needs changing ==> Go into Settings – Bluetoothdelete all prior pairings and try setting them up again from scratch. ==> When it comes to issues with multiple device connection, only a future update will be able to address this problem.
Problem #5 – No app drawer
This isn’t exactly an issue with the phone, but LG has decided to leave out the app drawer with their latest LG UX software experience, which can take some getting used to.
Potential solutions:
==> LG has an official option available. Open the LG SmartWorld app, and search for LG Home 4.0. Once installed, the app drawer will be back. ==> m You can also go to Settings – Display – Homescreen – Select Home, and then select EasyHome. This will simplify the interface significantly, but does bring back the app drawer. Finally, you always have the option of downloading a third party launcher from the Google Play Store.
Guides – Soft reset, hard reset, wipe cache partition, hardware control mode
Soft reset
==> When the screen is not responsive, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, until the device restarts. ==> Alternately, you can also pull the battery to shut down the phone.
Hard reset
==> Turn the device off. ==> Press and hold the power button and the volume down key simultaneously, and when the LG logo is displayed, release only the power button, and then immediately press the power button again, and wait till the factory reset menu comes up. ==> Press the power button to continue, or the volume keys to cancel.
Booting into Safe Mode
==>Turn off the phone and restart it. When the LG logo appears, press and hold the volume down key until you see the home screen, which should take it into Safe Mode. ==> When the phone is on, press and hold the power button till the shutdown options appear. Press and hold the “Power off” option till a confirmation pops up and tap OK. This will boot the device into Safe Mode.
Hardware control mode
If the display of the phone is broken or damaged, you can still perform some basic functions using the hardware buttons.
==> Turn off the phone. ==> Press and hold the power button and both volume keys together for more than 10 seconds to enable the hardware key control mode. ==> Press the volume keys to scroll to the option you want, and press the power button to confirm. ==> To answer a call, you can now press both volume keys at the same time to do so. ==> to end a call, press the power button during the call. ==> To stop the alarm, press and hold the volume keys together when the alarm rings.
So there you have it for this roundup of some common problems faced by LG G5 owners! We will continue to keep this list updated, and if you do come across any other issues, Kindly Contact Me.
All said and done, don’t let any of these issues change your mind about what is otherwise a very good phone. Despite the move to premium materials, LG continues to offer staple features like a replaceable battery, and the device boasts one of the best cameras that have released so far this year. Of course, there is also the unique modular capabilities that make the LG G5 stand out from the crowd. As mentioned, it is quite likely that you won’t come across any of the problems mentioned above.

For those of you who A) think that Google is a bit too invasive already and B) suffer from “Eye Scream” squeamishness, this article is probably going to be a tough read. A patent filed in 2014 has just been made public that reveals that Google wants to create a device that would be installed literally inside your eyeball.
Forget Google Glass, forget smart contacts. Google is going the whole nine yards with a “device [that] can be installed within a flexible polymeric material shaped to conform to the inside surface of a lens capsule of an eye.” For those of you wondering where exactly that situates the device inside your eyeball, time for a brief anatomy lesson.
The actual outer surface of your eye over your pupil is the cornea. That’s what your contact lenses ride on, and it serves to protect the eye and refract light. Beneath that is your iris and your pupil, and situated just beyond the pupil is the lens, which also serves to refract light but which can, unlike the cornea, change shape to adjust focus. The lens is enveloped in a thin layer of collagen called the lens capsule, and that’s where this device would ride.
The process of insertion might strike some as a bit graphic, as it does involve needles penetrating the cornea. A fluid is injected into the lens capsule to house the device, then the device itself is subsequently inserted and the fluid hardened. Google hopes that a device inserted this way will be able to display content to the user in-focus and would interact with other, less cyborg-esque devices like your smartphone. If you’re wondering about power, the device will collect energy using a “harvesting antenna,” but the details of that component are not presented in the patent.
Although the patent makes no mention of what operating system this “intra-ocular” device would run, since it’s a mobile device made by Google, we’re thinking Android isn’t a stretch. Many are reacting to this patent with squeamishness and derision, but we actually think it’s pretty damn cool. What about you? Is this a step too far in blurring the line between man and machine, or is it an inevitable step in our transcendence into god-like transhuman entities of pure energy? Let us know in the comments below!
