Hello Folks, This April 2016 was a Wonderful month to many of us out There because i know that about 98% of us really enjoyed free browsing in April if not All of us..

Guys, is it that Glo is more secured than Mtn? or is it that it being owned by a Nigerian? i cant even tell! Apart from the Days that we last enjoyed Free browsing via our Nokia phone with Opera Handler, i don't think there was/is anything like Free browsing on Glo Network.(Them dey use JuJu?). God help us oo..

For those who don’t know, glo offers weekend and night data plans . The night plan cost just N200 and offers 1GB of data space while the weekend plan cost N500
and offers 3GB data space.

The night plan can be used from 12:00am to 5:00am (weekdays) while the weekend plan is valid during Saturdays and Sundays. While glo says the plan is valid for 24 hours, that’s not entirely true.

Here’s How The Glo Night and Weekend Data Plan

The night plan offers 1GB data plan for N200 and if that’s not exhausted within the valid time frame on the first night, it can be used the following night. If not exhausted the following night, it can be used the other
following night. I guess that’s what makes the plan exceptional.
Although I haven’t experimented much with the weekend plan, based on my usage so far, it can be used for 2 weekends. That’s if the user does not exhaust the data
allocated the first weekend of course.

Bonus Tip: If using a blackberry 10 phone, remember to change the APN to gloflat or glosecure during the night or weekend period so you don’t keep getting
charged from your normal bis plan.

So, if you’ve got large files to download using the glo network, the night plan or weekend plan could be the best to use..

Considering that Airtel which tend to be leading in terms of providing cheap and affordable data plans, GLO, to a very large extent, is still making a lot sense compared to other competitors.


While going through the *777# code on the glo network, I stumbled on a data plan that’s quite fascinating. With just N200, you’d be able to get 1GB of data during night periods. According to glo, the data can be used from 12:01am to 5:59am.



I actually tried it and YES, it worked. For some of us who is used to surfing more during the night time and consume quite a lot of data, this certainly comes in handy. It simply means that with just N200, you can surf through the night and watch a few online videos.

Other plans available in the Glo’s Supermart package includes;

• 1.5GB for N1000
• 3GB for N2000
• 4.5GB for N2500
• 6GB for N3000
• 9GB for N4000
• 12GB for N5000
• 24GB for N8000


For heavy internet users who steadily uses the glo network, you would agree with me that this is a good deal. To opt in for any of the above data plans, just dial *777# and follow the onscreen instructions and NO, you do not need to change your phone’s IMEI number in other to use any of the plans stated above.

That is bizarre and crazy on the same time.
Why will 2.6Million subscribers unload
MTN Nigeria? That is too much a loss to
bear. Ought to or not it's because MTN BBLITED turned into blocked? Why will 52,251 subscribers dump Etisalat? Some thing have to be actually wrong somewhere.


According to a recent report released by NCC, It said that the number of subscribers that browsed the internet in January was put at 95.94 million; but reduced to 93.75 million in the month of February. The data revealed those internet users on both the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) and the Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) networks reduced by 2,194,162.



The data showed that of the 93.75 million internet users in February, 93.6 million were on GSM networks, while 150,125 users were on the CDMA. Of the 93.6 million internet users on the GSM networks in the month under review,

MTN Nigeria had 35.6 million customers browsing the internet on its network. MTN had a decrease of 2.6 million internet subscribers in February, after it recorded 38.21 million users in the month of January.

Globacom had 25.68 million customers surfing the net in February, as the number increased by 248,593 from the January’s record of 25.43 million.

Airtel Nigeria , had 17 million internet users in the month of February, as against 16.85 million customers recorded in January. It said that Internet users on the Airtel Nigeria network increased by 224,037 in February.

Etisalat had 15.23 million internet users in February, against the 15.28 million in January, hence, reducing by 52,251 in the month under review.

And i more specific with the reasons for Mtn Network, Considering the facts that MTN for the past one month have been very Hard on use it all Started when They blocked The use of MTN BBlited on Psiphon, and others too.. So i know many users would have opted in for the Glo Bis and other cheaper Data plans..

If you are following my blog posts, you must have read about the Glo Bis subscription which goes for just N1000 and i know that some of you have been using this Glo bis for a very long time. #Details Here

so this morning, i was trying to Re-activate Glo Bis which is formerly N1000 for my friend, but to my uttermost surprise, i did not see the normal N1000, instead i saw N1,400 and N1,500.

 







The reason behind this sudden increament in the price of Glo bis subscription is yet to be disclosed.
