Xiaomi's next smartphone is a giant, dwarfing even its Mi Note and Mi Note Pro phablets in size. The new Mi Max comes with a 6.44-inch display and a beefy 4,850mAh battery which is both welcome and necessary, given the number of pixels you'll be pushing around every day. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 or 652 processor, as well as 4GB or 3GB of RAM, and 32GB or 128GB of internal storage. The two chipset choices are intriguing most flagships, such as the Galaxy S7, are using the Snapdragon 820, leaving the 652 to mid-range devices like the LG G5 SE.

The design is eloquent, if a little by the numbers. It has a smooth, metal body with two faint antenna lines and the Mi logo etched on the back. It'll be available in silver, gold or dark grey the standard color set for a smartphone these days when it goes on sale in China next week.

The new phone also coincides with the launch of MIUI 8, the latest version of Xiaomi's custom Android skin. It's a clean, colorful take with a few new software additions, such as a reworked gallery app and calculator. MIUI 8 also introduces the ability to "split" a phone into two separate accounts, with a different passcode lock, home screen and apps. You can also "clone" apps which don't provide intuitive account switching. That means you can set up two versions of the same app, both with a separate login, and bounce between them using the home screen or Xiaomi's app switcher.

Xiaomi's Mi Max comes with a fingerprint sensor for security and convenient unlocking. On the back, you'll find a 16-megapixel camera, while the front is equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper, complete with a wide-angle lens. None of this sounds too extraordinary until you consider the starting price: 1,499 RMB ($230). That'll net you the lower-specced option with the Snapdragon 650, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Spend 1,699 RMB ($261) instead and you'll be upgraded to the Snapdragon 652 and 64GB of storage; the top option, which runs for 1,999 RMB ($307), ups the RAM to 4GB and the onboard storage to 128GB.

All three option are cheaper than what the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro sold for in 2015. Those devices are slightly smaller, however, with a 5.7-inch display and some specs that, even by today's standards, are pretty competitive (they run on a Snapdragon 810, with the option of either 3GB or 4GB of RAM). The Mi Max, then, is likely to be a complimentary device, rather than a direct replacement. It will also sit alongside the Mi 5, Xiaomi's new flagship announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

HTC has officially unveiled the HTC One S9 mid-range smartphone. There’s nothing special here, as it retains the same design we’re used to.

In a bid to support fast Internet surfing, online video streaming and downloading, the device supports 4G LTE network though in other developed countries, they are now
talking about 5G network.

It uses a Gorilla Screen technology but as usual, HTC can't just stop hurting us with their battery capacity. Why 2840mAh at this
point in time when other phones are giving their fans as much as 5050mAh and 6000mAh capacity battery.

Anyway, apart from the battery, (though not too bad), i think every other spec is cool and major features you would use on a smartphone is available on the device. So see the full specs and price of the HTC One S9 device below.

Tecno Is Here Again, i think Tecno mobile is Nigerian to win the Android Market. first It was Boom J8, then we thought that was over not until Techno Mobile Released Another Wonder Product, The first Tecno phone to Run on Android 6.0 MarshMallow Tecno W8…

It is like Tecno Mobil are coming up with full force this days to amend every aspect of their production that people has been criticizing.

This Tecno L8 is a monster judging from the battery limit however separated from the enduring battery, different specs and components demonstrates that it is a midrange android cell phone with a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inward memory.

It is not a flawless devicr for photograph partners and selfie strick peeps out there as it components an insignificant 8MP essential (back) camera and only 2MP optional (front) camera.

I was frustrated as i didn't notice or see the accessibility of 4G LTE network on this phone.
Like truly? No 4G in a 2016 telephone? This is a noteworthy downside for me.

Anyway, if you are my type of person that stays online 24/7, you should consider using this phone if not for anything, the huge battery 🔋

After long month of speculations, rumors, and alot of leaked images, We Can now say that the Huawei P9 has finally been launched. It was also launched along side the Huawei P9 plus.

The new P9 variants come with dual cameras by Leica. The double 'O' being teased the past weeks are two cameras placed side-by-side, one for color photos and the other one for monochrome. The dual camera setup is innovative because two sensors can capture better images compared to just one. Huawei separated black and white (monochrome) and color into two unique modules. Both come with 12 megapixels.

The smartphone can capture light three times better and offers 50% better contrast. These improvements in specs result to more details and vivid colors of images even when captured in low light situations. Huawei partnered with top brand camera maker Leica to produce the dual camera setup. However, Leica didn't manufacture the cameras. A more appropriate description is that they co-engineered the lenses. You can say the lenses are Leica-branded.

The P9 and P9 Plus differ in many aspects. The P9 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display while the P9 Plus has a bigger 5.5-inch screen. The basic Huawei P9 features a Kirin 955 octa-core chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB onboard storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion, and a 3000mAh battery. A dual SIM option will be available in China. The larger P9 Plus boasts of a 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3400mAh battery.

The Huawei P9 and P9 Plus are all cased in a very thin aluminum chassis. They also come with 8MP selfie cameras, fingerprint scanners, and USB-C ports. The smartphones run EMUI 4.1 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Pricing starts at ($683) for the Huawei P9 while the 4GB RAM, 64GB version will be ($740). The slightly larger Huawei P9 Plus will start at ($853).
